For a quality braided leather dog leash, you can skip the middle man - since we hand make them right here, using only the premium parts of top grade USA cowhide that's been tanned right for a long life, & we never use the weaker, belly leather.  Braided dog leashes available in 5/8" or 3/4" widths.
